Perform maintenance activities on automated, mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic equipment. Perform preventive, predictive maintenance to site standards.
Analyze, define, and perform maintenance tasks following safety, quality and technical standards as well as considering the priorities.
Responsible to keep all equipment / maintenance documentation up-dated including all the required paper work related with the tasks performed.
Lead all field Maintenance Techs and Service Contractors to install and troubleshoot automated, mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic equipment throughout the facility.
Follow all CMMS guidelines on a daily basis.
Perform lubrication, preventive, predictive and curative maintenance in mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic parts of industrial equipment, as following: Mechanic: Gear Boxes, bearings, joint shafts, general frames, coupling, etc. Hydraulic and Pneumatic: valves, motors, pumps and general parts relating with hydraulic and pneumatic systems;
Reading and interpretation of mechanic, hydraulic and pneumatic drawings;
Elaboration of scratch to be used on future drawings or up-date existing drawings;
Write technical reports regarding equipment problems;
Work on equipment improvements and implementation of new equipment. Work in a continuous improvement environment to either maintain and improve equipment and parts as required to improve production performance;
Quantify and specify labor and material for Maintenance tasks to be scheduled, when required.
Participation on revisions and elaboration of Maintenance tasks procedures, for Preventive Maintenance;
Responsible to keep a safety work environment wherever working.
Follow the Company policies about safety, health and environment.
Keep housekeeping in the forefront of Maintenance activities.


High School Diploma or equivalent
Mechanic Technical School background is desired.
Minimum of seven (7) years of experience working in similar facilities on maintenance environment, dealing with tight tolerance mechanic parts and hydraulics equipment
General working knowledge of welding techniques
General working knowledge of auto mechanics
General working knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic repair techniques
Working knowledge of electrical and automated equipment
